Panelists from Cornell Cooperative Ext, The City of Rochester, South Wedge Farmers Market, Rochester Roots and Peace Works Organic Farm will tell us how to garden and grow our own foods, buy fresh at local markets and co-op with farmers who will share their bounty at harvest time. Don't have a back yard? How about container and roof top gardening? Take home a seed packet to get started!

The One City Series 2010 will focus on three Rochester neighborhoods where great things are happening: The South Wedge; 14621; The 19th Ward. Details to come.
DCF's partnership with WXXI will continue with year four of the Love and Forgiveness project. Our next program will be in Spring of 2010 and will explore the PBS program "We Shall Remain." Stay tuned ;)
